this sounds great with both kinds of cheese. I have a similar recipe that I make with cottage cheese and whatever else I have (usually just cheddar, sometimes I sprinkle Parmesan on top). The name of the recipe: Lazy Lasagna. :) mmm. I'll have to try this one soon since I bought some mozzarella on sale last week!
